Hi! I'm Doc

At least that's a nickname I go by. Has to do with a "PhD" I earned a in clinical hypnosis from an institution that claimed it was acredited.

It wasn't. At least not by the U.S. department of education

In a way, I was conned. Credentially speaking my PhD ended up standing for "Piled Higher and Deeper."

Yet, it was still the best I could find in hypnosis at the time and I have helped people with clinical hypnosis for 20 years

The nickname also stuck because I perform sometimes as a snake oil salesman for themed and family events. That's a comedy show with non-stop magic disguised as crazy inventions and elixirs. It lampoons both the turn-of-the-century style character and modern con artists.

I've performed that show at renaissance fairs, colleges and even at medical conferences teaching M.D.'s all about what complimentary treatments out there have real science backing them and what is "snake oil."

I also do a grand illusion show filled with spectacle & wonder, a beautiful assistant that I cut in half while audience members hold her down and a number of other phenomenal pheats of phantasticness. It's a lot of phun!

In 2000 I was delighted to win the International Brotherhood of Magician's highest honor: the People's Choice Award for Stage Magic in world-wide competition0.

I have had the honor of performing for millions of people on television with Lance Burton and Penn & Teller on The Animal Planet's "Guerilla Magic" where I enjoyed making a six month old white tiger appear in the middle of the street in Las Vegas while surrounded by surprised tourists.

I performed on international TV on the top two rated episodes of the #1 rated TV program in Japan "Tunnes No Minesaka" where I hypnotized 12 Japanese celebrities through a translator.

For 10 years I was regularly booked on cruise lines including Holland America, Princess, Radisson Seven Seas, Premier, Cunard and Celebrity.

I have performed for small theaters, comedy clubs, corporate events and even enormous stadium shows like when I got to open for Randy Travis in front of a roaring crowd of 45,000 people!

And now I'm ready to perform for YOU!

Give me a call. You don't have to have 45,000 people or a fortune to book me. We just need a conversation. I'll even wear a mask. Over Zoom. You can't be too careful.

Thanks!
